To present the life, career and contribution to Nova Scotia of Thomas McCulloch, minister, writer, scientist and educational reformer, as well as to introduce the story of Scottish settlement in Pictou County and to interpret the significant contribution of the Scots, in particular immigrants from the Lowlands of Scotland, to the development of Nova Scotia. Our surrounding garden and property is also used to encourage exploration of natural history.Mission
